Public buses are the most economical option, although the journey may involve transfers and take considerably longer.

Shared shuttle services to Sámara are available through companies such as Interbus and Tropical Tours Shuttles. These shuttles operate only at scheduled times, so guests should check current routes, departure times and availability directly with the provider before booking their flight connection.

No, Hotel Dos Aguas does not accept pets.

Guests are not permitted to bring stray animals, including dogs or cats from the beach or street, onto the hotel property or into their rooms.

Guests who disregard this policy may be required to leave the hotel immediately without a refund.

Our concierge service is available from 7am to 4pm from Monday to Saturday. As a small hotel with only 9 rooms, we do not have a constantly manned reception, but someone is always present during these hours. We are more than happy to assist with booking various tours, including dolphin tours, turtle watching during nesting or hatching, riding into the jungle other activities.

For standard reservations of up to 27 nights, cancellations made 50 days or more before arrival are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.

For cancellations made less than 50 days before arrival, the total booking amount is non-refundable.

Different cancellation conditions apply to long-term stays, non-refundable rates, and reservations during the Christmas and New Year period. The applicable conditions will be provided before the reservation is confirmed and will be included in the booking confirmation.

A 30% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The deposit can be paid by Visa or Mastercard. For reservations made directly with the hotel, payment by bank transfer to our Wise account may also be arranged.

The remaining 70% will be charged 50 days before arrival. If the reservation is made less than 50 days before arrival, the full booking amount will be charged at the time of booking.

When payment by bank transfer or credit card authorisation is arranged, the reservation will be held for a maximum of 24 hours. If we do not receive the required payment or authorisation within this period, the reservation may be released.

By confirming the reservation and paying the deposit, guests agree to our booking terms and cancellation policy.

We strongly recommend purchasing appropriate travel insurance. Unexpected illness, flight disruptions or other changes to travel plans do not override the applicable cancellation policy.

Hotel Dos Aguas offers four open, unmonitored parking spaces at the property. Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved.

If the hotel parking area is full, guests may use the available public street parking along the main road or the nearby side street. The hotel can also be accessed through the side entrance.

All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

Sámara is generally considered a relaxed and welcoming beach town, and many visitors feel comfortable walking through the centre and populated areas during the day and evening. However, no travel destination is completely free of risk, and normal precautions should always be taken.

Stay in well-lit and populated areas after dark and avoid walking alone on isolated sections of the beach at night. Never leave valuables, luggage or electronic devices unattended on the beach or visible inside a parked car. While swimming, make sure your belongings are securely stored or watched by someone you trust.

Hotel Dos Aguas is approximately 450 metres from Playa Sámara, just a five-minute walk from the beach on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. The town centre, restaurants and shops are also within easy walking distance.

No. Hotel Dos Aguas is an adults-only hotel. All guests must be at least 18 years old at the time of check-in. Unfortunately, we are unable to make exceptions to this policy.
